A huge success by the Czech pianist Marek Kozák at the 15th Concours Géza Anda

MAREK KOZÁK won the third price at the 15th Concours Géza Anda, one of the most demanding and renowned international piano competitions. 
The winner is German Anton Gerzenberg, the second price was awarded by the jury to British Julian Trevelyan.
In the final round, Marek performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 with the Tonhalle Orchester Zürich, and as an alternative he offered to perform Liszt's Concerto No. 1 and E. von Dohnányi's Variations on a Children' Song.

The 15th Concours Géza Anda was carried out in Zurich and Winterthur between 27th May and 5th June 2021, in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.
